Jeff Parker is a versatile guitarist and composer known for blending jazz, rock, and experimental music. A key figure in “The Modern Chicago Sound,” he’s a longtime member of Tortoise and founder of Isotope 217˚ and Chicago Underground. Parker has collaborated widely and released acclaimed albums like The New Breed and Suite For Max Brown (2020), which topped Billboard Jazz charts. His work spans performance, composition, film scoring, and production. He’s been part of Chicago’s AACM since 1995.
