Texas-born and Hudson Valley–based Jefre Cantu-Ledesma is a composer and multi-instrumentalist known for his emotive ambient and experimental works. A founding member of Tarentel and half of Raum (with Grouper), he’s released acclaimed solo albums on Mexican Summer and collaborated with artists like Félicia Atkinson and Alexis Georgopoulos. Also a Zen priest and hospice chaplain, his music draws from nature, spirituality, and human connection—culminating in his latest, Gift Songs, a deeply reflective and collaborative work.
