Suso Sáiz

 Live

Suso Sáiz has been a central figure in Spain’s experimental scene since the late 1970s, known for his richly textured compositions built from acoustic instruments, field recordings, and slow, evolving processes. Avoiding synthesis and automation, his sound unfolds organically—dense with emotion, silence, and resonance. A founder of Orquesta de las Nubes and Música Esporádica, and a collaborator with artists like Steve Roach, Gigi Masin, and Suzanne Kraft, Sáiz explores music as a temporal and emotional landscape. His recent works on Music From Memory, including Rainworks and Distorted Clamor, reflect a universe in constant flux—glowing with vulnerability, memory, and a deep reverence for time.
